Reclaimed Creations builds fireplace mantels from old growth reclaimed beams, and we have sold them to customers in New Jersey. We deliver throughout the state, including Ridgewood, Montclair, Morristown, and Princeton, or you can pick your mantel up at our yard in Hopewell Junction, New York. There are two ways to buy a mantel from us. An in-stock mantel comes from what is already in the yard, at $99 a foot. A custom mantel is cut from a raw beam to your measurements, at $125 a foot. Both prices include the finish.

This is an estimate for a straight cut at standard depth. Anything beyond that, we will price on the phone once we have your measurements.

A five-foot in-stock mantel is $495, sanded, finished, and ready to hang. There is no design fee and no extra charge for staining or sealing. Most orders are ready within two weeks.

Hand-Hewn Mantels

Hand-hewn beams were shaped with an axe and an adze, most of them a hundred years ago or more. The tool marks stay in the face, so the surface is uneven and every mantel is different.

Rough Sawn Mantels

Rough sawn beams were cut at a mill. The circular saw left arcing marks across a flatter face, so a rough sawn mantel looks cleaner on the wall than hand-hewn.

Delivery and Pickup

We deliver mantels throughout New Jersey. The cost depends on the size of the mantel and the distance, so call with your zip code and we will price it.

You are also welcome at the yard at 40 Railroad Ave in Hopewell Junction to pick a beam or collect your mantel. It is open Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday until noon, by appointment only.

Yes. Come to the yard in Hopewell Junction, by appointment only, and walk the racks with us. Call ahead so someone is there.
